SHIPPING

SHIPPING POLICY


Citizen + Co. is located in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and charges the sales taxes (PST) applicable to Saskatchewan. Orders shipped outside of Saskatchewan are charged PST. At this time, we do not ship outside of Canada. Larger furniture pieces cannot be shipped to a P.O. box. Please provide a physical street address or contact us for further shipping arrangements.


Lead Times

Decor items are stocked in our warehouse and ship within 2-3 business days. Lighting, furniture, rugs and large art ship directly from the manufacturer to you. Each item and each manufacturer have specific shipping lead times. Once you place an order we'll contact you within 48hrs to give you an approximate lead time. Once your item is shipped you'll receive a tracking number where you'll be able to track the package and know its exact delivery date. Orders with multiple items may have multiple tracking numbers and different arrival dates. Most items featured within Citizen + Co. ship within 5-10 business days. Items with longer lead times like made to order art and some lighting has the approximate lead times listed in the product description.  


Items are shipped via Canada Post. Some of our larger items are considered oversize and may be shipped with a freight carrier. Please note that furniture deliveries are curbside only. That means that the delivery person does not enter the home or assemble the furniture. White glove service may be requested in certain areas at an additional cost, however, is not guaranteed. 


Stock

We do our best to only feature in stock items, but in some instances products can sell out before we have the chance to update the website. If you purchase an item that is out of stock we will contact you with an estimated stock date. If the date isn't to your liking we will reimburse you 100% and/or suggest a similar in stock item. Please contact us for stock inventory and specific lead times.


Local Regina Pick Up

If you are local and would like to pick up your order from our warehouse, please email teal@thecitizendesignco.com to make arrangements. We ask that pick up is made within one week of being notified. Once the item has been picked up, we will refund your shipping cost.


Backordered Items

Our team works hard to update our site often to reflect the most accurate stock and estimated shipping timeframes. Changes to an estimated shipping time frame attributed to a delay in production may occur and are subject to change. Our team will notify you of any changes to the item(s) in your order and ship any available items. Furniture and artwork orders cannot be cancelled due to a backorder. Once an order is created, it is sent to the manufacturer. A cancellation cannot be processed once the manufacturer has confirmed the order.


 

ARTWORK + MIRRORS

Our artwork is custom, made-to-order. Please allow 6-8 weeks from our vendors for fulfillment and delivery, unless otherwise specified on the product page. Due to the custom nature of our pieces, all artwork and mirror sales are final.


RUGS

Most of our rugs, subject to availability, typically ship between 3-4 weeks from the date of your order,  unless otherwise specified on the product page. 


LIGHTING

Lighting, subject to availability, should ship between 2-3 weeks from the date of your order unless otherwise specified on the product page. Delivery time varies depending on location.
