You may return an item for a refund of the merchandise total within 15 days of delivery. Please ship the item to our Regina location.  All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, + in the original packaging. We also require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please note, if you return an item the return shipping is your responsibility and our initial shipping costs will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Once your return is received and inspected and approved, a return credits will be issued within 24 hours. A credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.



If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Other than in the event of a severe product defect, artwork, mirrors, sofas + furniture over 80 lbs are considered final sale.

Floor models and clearance section items are final sale.

Lighting fixtures that have been installed or have been altered in any way are ineligible for refund.

Custom furniture is non-refundable.

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.



We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at hello@thecitizenandco.ca with your name, contact email, item, and reason for return and we will contact you.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you will vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
